Dan Peck
Senior Advisor
Dan has 18 years of experience in global social impact investing, government advisory, management consulting, and investment banking. He has focused for over a decade on how social impact investment and philanthropy, supported by government funding and policy, can improve mental health, housing stability, and life outcomes for vulnerable communities.
His experience includes leading the development of a Social Impact Bond in the United States with Yale University clinicians, officials from the State of Connecticut and the White House, and working with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health to make $330m of services more flexible, person-centred, and outcomes-focused. A $3m philanthropic grant drove a transformation valued at over 100 times the original investment.
In the UK, Dan has worked with the British Government, investors, social entrepreneurs, and charities to align public and private funding and strengthen housing and mental health outcomes. In North East England, he has assessed place-based investments and shaped the next generation of initiatives, while his current work in Scotland focuses on developing a social investment fund to expand supportive housing and scale wraparound services, including mental health care.
Dan holds an MBA from Yale University, with a concentration in social entrepreneurship, investment, and global economic development.
