Margianta’s experience ranges from grassroot work to high-level advocacy in regional and international networks, with intersectional focus on youth development, global health, and social justice in policy making process. As a former Youth Advisor at UNFPA Indonesia, Margianta has initiated several movements and initiatives, including the anti-slavery non-profit Emancipate Indonesia in 2017.

Margianta has been featured on national and international media, as well as been invited to speak about the importance of youth participation in social change at One Young World, World Health Summit, and Nobel Prize Dialogue.

His recent works include his role as a UNICEF consultant where he provides inputs for UNICEF's Youth Advocacy Guide and train youth advocates from various countries and continents. Margianta is also a part of the CSO Advisory Board for UN in Indonesia and the youngest Council Member of Being Initiative that funds research and innovations to support youth mental health.
