Tess Korten
Social Impact Consultant
Tess is a social impact professional with a background in consulting at the intersection of sustainability and social issues. She has extensive experience in collaborating with corporates and global media organisations that have an ambition to strengthen intersectional climate action.
She also has experience working with policy makers in the US context for their election and re-election campaigns.
Prior to joining Prospira, Tess was leading live climate journalism programming in collaboration with The New York Times. She oversaw the curation and delivery of live journalism interviews and conferences at global events such as COP26,27,28, UNGA, the World Economic Forum, London and New York Climate Week, and multiple bespoke moments across 4 continents.
Tess also worked on content curation and coalition building on topics such as climate and mental health, climate and food systems, and corporate engagement with the Sustainable Development Goals.
After completing her undergraduate degree at The University of Michigan — with a focus on International Studies and Entrepreneurship — she started her career working with the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and then transitioned to working with elected officials, across New York, in a campaign finance capacity.
Tess is keen to use her varied experience to inform progress on global mental health initiatives - both in the private and public sector.
