Women and Girls: Empowerment through Mental Health
Survey Research Methodology
Organization survey
Process
The survey was open from January 30 - April 3 2023, and took about 15 minutes to complete.
It was hosted on Qualtrics, an online survey platform, and could be accessed by anyone globally via an anonymous link.
Respondents also had the option to complete the survey over the phone with the help of a staff member of Prospira Global.
It was available in four languages: English, French, Spanish and Japanese.
Each organization could submit one response only, therefore any duplicates were removed from the sample.
Informed Consent
Only representatives of organizations who read the participant information, were over 18 years old, and consented to take part were able to complete the survey.
Organization-specific responses were kept confidential and were only viewed by the Prospira Global research team.
Only anonymized data (all identifying details removed) was shared and reported on.
Organizations that consented to be re-contacted about the survey were asked if they would like to be credited as a survey respondent in the report. Only organizations that said yes are included.
All identifying data was securely stored on GDPR-compliant EU-based servers.
Respondents were able to decline to answer any question throughout the survey, and were able to abandon the survey at any point during its completion.
Respondents were also able to withdraw from the survey, and have their identifying responses removed by emailing to the survey administrator within two weeks after they completed the survey.
Methodology
Participants were presented with single and multiple choice questions, which collected demographic information (e.g. organization size, demographic focus and location, annual/philanthropic budget), information about the organization’s main areas of work and whether and how mental health is implemented into the organizations’ programming and structure.
